What you will do

  • Design mixed-signal electrical systems covering analog, digital, RF, power distribution, control, sensing, and communications for robotic systems.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts, perform board bring-up, and improve existing electrical designs.
  • Select and evaluate sensors, actuators, power supplies, communication modules, and other electrical components.
  • Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, design specifications, test reports, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to integrate electrical components and systems.
  • Develop test plans, validate designs through analysis and simulation, oversee manufacturing quality, troubleshoot issues, and support regulatory compliance testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in mobile robotics, automation, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, control systems, and communication protocols.
  • Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools such as Altium.
  • Proven experience designing, testing, and validating PCBs, power electronics, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical components, materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance testing, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
