Operations & Logistics Manager (Hardware)

Location: Onsite in San Carlos, California, five days per week

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, plus equity and employee benefits.

hirify.global is a remote-first Public Benefit Corporation building a Utility Intelligence Platform and hardware products for infrastructure programs.

What you will do

• Own inbound and outbound logistics for hardware moving through the Fab Lab, including receiving, inspection, freight, delivery tracking, and exception resolution.
• Maintain accurate inventory, asset records, chain-of-custody documentation, and deployment records for materials, components, spare parts, and finished hardware.
• Coordinate hardware and production schedules with customer deployment timelines.
• Run day-to-day Fab Lab operations, including layout, storage, staging areas, workplace organization, functionality, and safety.
• Manage facility vendors, maintenance, repairs, inspections, preventative upkeep, permits, contracts, and compliance records.
• Track facility, inventory, and logistics metrics and report operational health to leadership while supporting events, demonstrations, visits, and team gatherings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in facilities, logistics, supply chain, inventory, operations, or a related field.
• Experience in hardware, manufacturing, laboratory, workshop, production, or warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, freight, inventory, or vendor operations, preferably with DHL, UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
• Knowledge of California workplace, safety, or facilities regulations.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and ownership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work hands-on in a physical environment, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

• Safety certifications relevant to facilities or industrial environments.
