Workplace Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; on-site. U.S. work authorization or eligibility to obtain required ITAR authorizations is required.

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Establish and lead the workplace services function across offices and manufacturing sites.
• Manage janitorial, reception, food and beverage, pantry, waste, and other outsourced service vendors, including SLAs, sourcing, onboarding, and escalations.
• Run daily workplace operations, front-of-house services, visitor experience, waste management, and sustainability programs.
• Own service budgets, invoices, purchase orders, performance metrics, SOPs, and operating standards.
• Represent Workplace Services in design and construction meetings and coordinate FF&E selection, delivery, installation, punch lists, and site readiness.
• Partner with Workplace Services, People, EHS, and Security to align workplace operations with business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in workplace services, facilities, hospitality, or operations, including outsourced-service oversight.
• Proven vendor-management experience with service scopes, SLAs, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
• Experience managing budgets, creating and reconciling purchase orders, and reviewing invoices against contracts.
• 2+ years leading teams or managing vendor performance.
• Experience with fitouts and FF&E installation; ability to participate in design and construction meetings. Reading construction drawings is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, and a work-order, CMMS, or ticketing platform. Must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements.

• Experience building workplace or vendor programs from zero and scaling them across fast-growing, multi-site operations.
• Experience operating across both executive-facing environments and active manufacturing floors.
• Familiarity with PPE, production cadence, visitor security, and confidential defense-adjacent facilities.
