Fullstack Developer (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the San Francisco Bay Area or New York (4 days/week in-office)

Compensation: $150,000 – $190,000 (US) or CA$175,000 – CA$220,000 (Canada), plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead ambiguous technical projects from initial design to production operations.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing experiences.
• Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and system reliability.
• Develop architecture capable of scaling to billions in annual payment volume.
• Collaborate with product and GTM teams to translate complex requirements into elegant code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building B2B or B2C SaaS products.
• Experience in FinTech, payments, or marketplace environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in modern web stacks (React, Ruby, Postgres preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a zero-bureaucracy, high-ownership environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to balance speed with technical rigor.
• Must be able to work in-office 4 days/week in San Francisco or New York.
