Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco (Atherton/Palo Alto) or hybrid in New York City

What you will do

• Own customer deployments across the SF Bay Area, Cupertino, and Santa Clara.
• Develop features tailored to customer workflows and port cloud products to secure, on-prem environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenShift, ensuring system health and performance.
• Collaborate with leading semiconductor and consumer electronics companies to integrate AI features.
• Familiarize yourself with high-level hardware design processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, full-stack development, or infrastructure/DevOps.
• Strong systems design and debugging instincts.
• Proficiency with the Docker ecosystem, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and IaC tools.
• Experience with agent development and RAG.
• Willingness to travel, primarily within California.

Nice to have

• Experience with on-prem deployments in enterprise or air-gapped environments.
• Background in field engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Familiarity with EDA, semiconductor, or hardware-adjacent software environments.
