Senior Backend Engineer (AI) (Node.js/AWS): Building backend systems for AI-powered creative products that analyse playable ads, generate performance-optimised variants, and publish them to ad networks with an accent on analysis and generation pipelines, LLM orchestration, and asynchronous job processing. Focus on shaping the architecture of a new product direction, maintaining the existing Playworks platform, and designing scalable cloud infrastructure.
Location: Hybrid in Warsaw, Poland

What you will do
- Design and build backend services for AI-powered creative products.
- Develop analysis and generation pipelines for playable ads.
- Implement LLM orchestration and asynchronous job processing.
- Develop, maintain, improve, and refactor the Unity Playworks backend.
- Help shape the architecture of a new product direction while keeping the established platform running.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with AWS, including EC2, EKS, and S3.
- Experience with Docker and docker-compose.
- Knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
- English level: B1+; strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with high-load applications, ClickHouse, or Kafka.
- Basic React skills.
