Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

Location

Location: Paris, France (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Salary

€60K – €65K per year, with equity (BSPCEs)

What you will do

• Build and scale distributed systems using Go, DynamoDB, SQS, Redshift, and Lambdas
• Develop a snappy full-stack app with Next.js and gRPC
• Work on the hirify.global API to ensure industry-leading usability, performance, and functionality
• Deploy and scale fraud prevention models for large customers
• Maintain internal tools to improve developer efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure API stability and reliability
• Interact daily with clients to assist and build features based on their needs

Requirements

• Location: Paris, France with hybrid work format
• Experience designing and engineering large-scale systems
• Strong coding skills in Go; experience with Rust or TypeScript is a plus
• Preference for simplicity and scalable solutions
• Product-led mindset focused on impact
• Fluent/professional English required
