Modernization Engineer/FDE (AI)

What you will do

• Work directly with strategic customers to discover business challenges, operating constraints, workflows, and desired outcomes.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions, prototypes, implementation plans, and adoption paths.
• Design, build, and iterate custom AI and modernization solutions using modern software engineering practices.
• Develop agentic workflows, RAG-enabled solutions, API integrations, enterprise automation patterns, and production-ready prototypes.
• Lead delivery from scoping and prototyping through production deployment, adoption, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Contribute reusable code, architecture patterns, delivery playbooks, and field insights to hirify.global platforms and accelerators.

Requirements

• Hands-on development experience with Python, C#, Node, or TypeScript.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including SDLC, Git/GitHub, APIs, backend services, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure engineering.
• Experience designing, building, or integrating AI solutions with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, AI/ML frameworks, databases, and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and distributed systems, including Azure, AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical outcomes.

Nice to have

• Production experience implementing and improving AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, or multi-agent solutions.
• Experience building full-stack prototypes or production systems across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud services.
• Experience with agent telemetry, observability, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, policy-as-code, knowledge graphs, or semantic knowledge layers.
• Experience working with regulated or mission-critical customers where reliability, security, and compliance are essential.
