What you will do

• Design, code, orchestrate, and test scalable generative AI services, chatbots, and autonomous agents.
• Deploy and maintain LLM infrastructure in secure on-premise environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines connecting internal knowledge databases.
• Implement MCP tools that provide standardized and secure interfaces between AI models, internal tools, and data sources.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and resource management while ensuring compliance with Airbus Defence and Space security guidelines.
• Support internal users, troubleshoot issues, create technical documentation, and develop proofs of concept for new AI use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Professional experience with RAG architectures, MCP, LLM applications, chatbots, and AI agents.
• Experience with inference frameworks such as vLLM or SGLang and vector databases such as Qdrant or Chroma.
• Good experience deploying, scaling, and monitoring Docker and Kubernetes environments on premises.
• Knowledge of Python and basic cybersecurity concepts for AI systems.
• Business-fluent German and proficient English are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, server logging and monitoring stacks, container networking, and Git branching and code review practices.
