Application/Agentic AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Translate mission workflows and operational requirements into agentic AI solutions, including agents, workflow specialists, guardrails, tools, and validation frameworks.
• Design and maintain agent definitions, behavioral instructions, input/output contracts, safety policies, constraints, and tool-use rules.
• Develop reusable AI specialists, agent patterns, workflow templates, and implementation documentation.
• Build AI testing and evaluation suites covering validation, adversarial testing, guardrails, scope boundaries, tool use, regression, and multi-turn conversations.
• Integrate agents, orchestration workflows, APIs, and supporting services using software engineering and DevSecOps practices.
• Deploy, troubleshoot, optimize, and sustain AI-enabled applications across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments while collaborating with operational, engineering, cybersecurity, and product stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or AI/ML integration.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar programming languages, plus APIs, microservices, and data services.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration, or agentic AI concepts.
• Experience with cloud-native and containerized technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Git.
• Active Security Clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with model deployment, inference optimization, scalable AI architecture, or cloud AI services from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in government, defense, intelligence, cybersecurity, secure software development, or mission-focused environments.
• Experience developing AI-agent workflows, automation pipelines, or decision-support systems.
