Financial Controller (AI Procurement)

hirify.global is building an AI-native procurement operating system that combines intake, approvals, vendor management, invoice matching, and ERP integrations.

What you will do

• Own the monthly close process end-to-end and consolidate accounts across entities in France, the US, and the UK.
• Deliver timely financial statements under French GAAP and IFRS where applicable.
• Coordinate three external accounting firms and help transition accounting operations in-house over time.
• Build real-time financial reporting, own SaaS reporting to the Board, and prepare board and investor materials.
• Design and enforce controls across procure-to-pay, revenue recognition, payroll, and financial data management.
• Lead statutory audits, manage VAT, corporate income tax, and payroll tax compliance, and support budgeting, reforecasts, fundraising, and new subsidiary openings.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or finance, including experience in a Big Four or structured audit environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with multi-entity consolidation across jurisdictions.
• Ability to learn finance tools quickly and automate manual processes.
• Clear communication with non-finance stakeholders and a structured, detail-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• Comfort working in an early-stage startup and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
