Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote

Annual salary: $152,000–$179,000, depending on experience, skills, and location; equity is also included.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for a major product area from discovery through commercial launch.
• Identify customer problems through interviews, workflow analysis, product analytics, market research, usability testing, and prototype evaluation.
• Design AI-powered product experiences using large language models, retrieval systems, AI agents, workflow automation, prompt orchestration, and structured content generation.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, Clinical SMEs, Commercial, Customer Success, and customers throughout product development.
• Lead product planning, backlog prioritization, release planning, adoption activities, and communication of priorities and tradeoffs.
• Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for adoption, engagement, workflow efficiency, customer satisfaction, AI quality, and customer impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of product management experience building enterprise software or SaaS products.
• Demonstrated success leading products from discovery through commercial launch.
• Strong experience in customer discovery, product strategy, roadmap definition, prioritization, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and product judgment skills, including the ability to operate in ambiguous situations.

Nice to have

• Experience building products incorporating artificial intelligence or machine learning.
• Knowledge of large language models such as Claude and ChatGPT, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, semantic search, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Experience defining AI quality metrics and evaluation frameworks or partnering with Data Science teams to deliver AI capabilities into production.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and modern data architectures.
