What you will do
- Own the end-to-end design process for core product areas, from discovery and problem framing through delivery.
- Design complex, multi-user workflows for clinical and operational teams at large health systems.
- Translate dense healthcare processes into clear and intuitive enterprise software experiences.
- Work directly with healthcare customers to understand workflows, pain points, and product opportunities.
- Partner with engineering on design standards, implementation quality, and handoffs.
- Balance speed, scope, and design craft while shaping product direction.
Requirements
- Experience designing complex workflows, multi-user systems, and operationally dense software.
- Demonstrated end-to-end product ownership, including defining what to build and taking products from scratch to launch.
- Ability to work independently through ambiguity and drive products from problem definition to shipment.
- Strong product thinking and ability to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and go-to-market functions.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York City.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-powered or data-driven products.
- Familiarity with healthcare, EHRs, or clinical systems.
- Startup or high-growth company experience, especially from seed to Series A.
- Technical fluency and experience with operational or workflow-driven products.
- Use of AI tools in the design workflow.
