Product Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design process, from understanding problems and exploring solutions to shipping, gathering feedback, and iterating.
• Shape new interactions between people and AI and build core product experiences.
• Prototype interaction patterns with Cursor and Claude, validate ideas quickly, and refine the final designs in Figma.
• Develop and maintain a flexible design system integrated with engineering workflows.
• Conduct customer conversations, run experiments, and use AI tools to improve the design process.
• Challenge assumptions and influence product direction through clear opinions and fast experimentation.

Requirements

• Experience designing and shipping complex products involving meaningful trade-offs.
• Strong ownership, independent decision-making, and the ability to deliver with incomplete information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, operations, customers, and leadership.
• Fluency with AI tools and intentional use of AI in the design process.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Front-end coding proficiency.
• Experience conducting customer interviews and user research.
