Global AR Manager (SaaS)

Develops B2B software productivity tools across database, developer, and testing products for more than 50,000 customers worldwide.

What you will do

• Lead daily collections operations across domestic and international customer accounts, coordinating billing, cash application, credits, and receivables reconciliations.
• Develop collection strategies to improve cash flow, reduce past-due balances, and support DSO and bad debt objectives.
• Analyze AR aging, delinquency, unapplied cash, deductions, disputes, payment behavior, and portfolio risk.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Billing, Revenue Operations, Legal, Treasury, and business-unit leaders to resolve disputes, short pays, contract issues, and billing discrepancies.
• Establish scalable collection policies, workflows, escalation paths, SOPs, reporting, and controls across business units.
• Lead and develop the accounts receivable team while identifying opportunities to automate collections, dispute management, reporting, and AI-enabled decision support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or order-to-cash functions.
• 3+ years leading collections teams, AR operations, or multi-account B2B portfolios.
• Experience in a software, SaaS, or technology-driven company with strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash application, credits, reconciliations, and dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP, billing, and CRM platforms such as NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains, Salesforce, Chargebee, Zuora, or similar systems.

• Experience in a global, multi-entity software organization or acquired-business environment.
• Experience with recurring revenue models, billing platform ownership, AR automation, credit review, or finance transformation.
• Experience managing offshore, distributed, or shared-services resources.
• Accounting degree, professional certification, or experience in a high-growth or acquisitive software company.
