Construction Quality Inspector (Nuclear Construction)

What you will do

• Support inspection and verification across construction, fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and controlled field execution.
• Verify work against approved drawings, specifications, procedures, travelers, work packages, and controlled documentation.
• Assist with inspection hold points, witness points, turnover documentation, material traceability, and field walkdowns.
• Maintain accurate inspection, verification, traceability, and quality records for audit readiness.
• Identify and escalate documentation gaps, workmanship concerns, material issues, and execution deviations.
• Coordinate with quality supervisors, technicians, engineers, subcontractors, craft labor, and field leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and controlled documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in active industrial construction environments with outdoor conditions, elevated structures, confined spaces, noise, dust, and vibration while following safety requirements.
• Flexibility to support extended hours, weekends, and demanding field schedules when required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical certification, trade school, military technical experience, or coursework in a related technical discipline.
• Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, fabrication, field operations, quality inspection, or technical trades.
• Experience in nuclear, power generation, aerospace, semiconductor, defense, heavy industrial, or similarly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with dimensional measurement tools, inspection equipment, material traceability, and technical documentation systems.
