Safety Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Full availability is required for a 24/7 operation, including on-call incident response across Dubai operations.

What you will do

• Monitor safety performance indicators, trends, interventions, anomalies, and fleet readiness.
• Lead local site safety programmes, Safety Stand-Downs, safety concern reporting, audits, and non-conformance remediation.
• Conduct incident, near-miss, and anomaly investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as the on-call safety authority for 24/7 incident response and maintain audit-ready safety documentation.
• Manage vendor safety relationships and conduct tabletop exercises to maintain incident readiness.
• Work with the General Manager, Fleet Operations, Field Operations, Training, security, facilities, and global safety teams to improve fleet health and safety.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in transportation safety, logistics, fleet operations, or a related safety field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Safety Risk Management, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
• Strong knowledge of UAE transport regulations and RTA requirements, with knowledge of relevant international safety standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, judgement, adaptability, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Working proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and data management.
• Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage. Full availability for 24/7 operations is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA frameworks.
• OSHA 500/501 or Certified Safety Professional certification.
• Experience with Kaizen frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Arabic language skills.
