What you will do

• Own recruiting from initial sourcing through offer across engineering, SAP, go-to-market, operations, and leadership roles.
• Build an outbound sourcing program focused on software engineers in New York, including outreach to passive candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers and the founding team to define hiring needs, evaluate candidates, and advance searches.
• Shape Nova’s candidate presence through thoughtful outreach, recruiting events, and relevant professional communities.
• Set recruiting strategy, measure what works, manage external recruiters, and adjust sourcing approaches.
• Build the systems, processes, and tools needed to scale recruiting as the company grows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of recruiting experience with a strong technical recruiting foundation.
• Meaningful experience hiring software engineers and hiring across multiple functions and seniority levels, from individual contributors to senior leaders.
• Strong communication, writing, storytelling, and candidate-engagement skills.
• Proactive sourcing ability, including reaching candidates who are not actively looking.
• First-principles problem-solving skills and comfort working without an established playbook.
• Experience using AI tools and workflows to improve sourcing, outreach, scheduling, and recruiting operations.
