Founding Recruiter (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-person 5 days per week.

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 base salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business roles, including sourcing, screening, coordination, and closing.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to build hiring strategies and maintain clear, efficient processes.
• Deliver a thoughtful candidate experience from initial outreach through offer.
• Build and improve recruiting infrastructure, including pipelines, documentation, ATS hygiene, and interview processes.
• Use data and market insights to advise on compensation, hiring pace, and sourcing priorities.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally across both technical and business roles.
• Familiarity with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, or Harmonic.
• Experience working with recruiting agencies and calibrating them on ideal hires.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to quickly earn trust with candidates and assess talent.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to drive execution while defining direction.
