Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; on-site. Requires a 60-hour work week and daily 4-hour overlap with Pacific Time.

What you will do
- Develop a blockchain with high security, scalability, and decentralization.
- Operate a network of 1,000 nodes and manage infrastructure supporting $500 million in assets.
- Optimize the platform for 100 million requests per second.
- Work in open development and coordinate asynchronously with engineers.
- Prototype research-paper concepts and debug and profile low-level systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Specialization in kernels, data structures, or compilers.
- 5–10 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of startup experience.
- Availability for a 60-hour work week and daily 4-hour Pacific Time overlap.
- Exceptional communication and people skills.
