Backend Engineer - New Grad (Web3)

hirify.global is building a purpose-built blockchain for DomainFi, enabling domain tokenization and decentralized finance applications for domain names.

What you will do

• Work with product and engineering teams to turn requirements into backend features.
• Design, implement, and maintain services for the domain registrar platform and marketplace.
• Contribute to backend systems integrating with blockchain protocols.
• Build payment integrations supporting traditional and cryptocurrency payments.
• Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and improve existing codebases.
• Debug systems and learn modern web and blockchain development practices with mentorship from senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of backend development experience, including internships, projects, or open-source work.
• Familiarity with a backend language such as JavaScript/Node.js or Python.
• Basic knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of Git and collaborative software development.
• Problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean.
• Familiarity with NestJS or GraphQL.
• Projects or coursework involving blockchain, distributed systems, or domain registries.
