Smart Contract Engineer (Web3)

What you will do

• Build and maintain core smart contract frameworks, libraries, and tooling.
• Manage smart contract release lifecycles from architecture and audits through post-release maintenance.
• Research novel smart contract functionality beyond the EVM.
• Architect and implement core protocol components and adjacent prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, research, product, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and smart contract engineering expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Solidity and at least one other non-smart-contract programming language.
• Deep understanding of the EVM and differences across L1, L2, and L3 environments.
• Familiarity with network node architectures such as geth, reth, op-stack, and orbit.
• Experience participating in smart contract code audits as a maintainer or auditor.
• Strong written communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with alternative, non-EVM-based execution environments.
• Contributions to or maintenance of open-source projects.
