Senior Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Based in New York City or San Francisco with hybrid work three days per week

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, depending on location and experience, plus fund equity

What you will do

• Partner with senior leadership and technology hiring managers on team structure, hiring strategies, and market insights.
• Develop, execute, and optimize talent acquisition strategies for founders and critical technology hires.
• Source and engage candidates through referrals, social media, technical communities, and professional networks.
• Own end-to-end recruiting searches from initial evaluation through offer completion.
• Provide data-driven insights on recruiting trends, performance metrics, and improvement opportunities.
• Advise portfolio companies and founders on talent attraction and priority recruiting needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of recruiting experience in a technology startup.
• Proven success recruiting Applied AI Engineers, CTOs, architects, and technology leaders.
• Strong technical recruiting experience identifying, attracting, and evaluating engineering and technical talent.
• Ability to build trust with senior leaders, communicate recommendations clearly, and drive alignment.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, navigate ambiguity, and work across time zones.
• Deep interest in healthcare venture and innovation; global experience is preferred.
