Sr. Area Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee daily production execution, schedule adherence, cost-effective operations, and shop-floor performance across output, quality, and safety.
• Manage operational budgets and ensure spending efficiency against financial targets.
• Develop short- and long-term operational strategies, own five-year capacity planning, and lead continuous improvement programs.
• Lead recovery actions for safety incidents, production disruptions, and quality issues, while supporting investigations, customer complaints, quality escapes, and performance issues.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma improvements and translate innovations into high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Manage and develop direct reports through goal setting, coaching, performance feedback, and training while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing production operations and first-line shop-floor execution.
• Ability to develop operational strategies and long-term capacity plans.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement in high-volume manufacturing.
• Ability to resolve safety, production, quality, and performance issues with urgency.
• Capability to lead, coach, and develop direct reports and build a high-performance culture.
• Ability to collaborate with EHS, Quality, Logistics and Supply Chain, Maintenance and Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams.
