General Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead daily and long-term operations across production, engineering, quality, planning, scheduling, supply chain, facilities, and administration.
• Align production plans, capacity, materials, labor, engineering releases, and delivery commitments with customer demand.
• Manage quality systems, certifications, audits, inspections, corrective actions, regulatory compliance, health and safety, environmental practices, and business continuity.
• Oversee purchasing, suppliers, logistics, inventory, facilities, contractors, maintenance, and infrastructure.
• Manage budgets, labor and material costs, capital expenditure planning, profitability, and operational performance.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and provide KPI-based reports, risk assessments, corrective actions, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Degree or background in operations management, manufacturing management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive management experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, or a related environment.
• At least 5 years of senior leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with production, engineering, quality, supply chain, planning, scheduling, facilities, compliance, financial performance, ERP/MRP systems, inventory control, and operational KPIs.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, occupational health and safety, environmental requirements, budgeting, cost control, capital expenditures, Lean practices, root-cause analysis, and change management.
• Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, communication, coaching, financial acumen, risk management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
