Business Unit Operations Director (Semiconductor)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; onsite role with 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Manage a division, P&L, or segment operational program management office.
• Develop and drive cross-functional programs across multiple regions, business units, and hirify.global segments to achieve business and financial goals.
• Coordinate product portfolio prioritization, budget alignment, COGS reduction, build planning, gross margin targets, and balance sheet performance.
• Drive cash and inventory optimization and reduce end-to-end business unit cycle time from order receipt to customer delivery and from product development to retirement.
• Create business processes, lead continuous improvement plans, and develop cross-divisional programs.
• Support enhanced product lifecycle projects and obtain or allocate required operations resources.

Requirements

• Recognized as a functional guru or external expert with broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies within the field.
• Ability to influence internal and external business or regulatory issues affecting the business.
• Experience leading highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives and providing thought leadership.
• Ability to proactively identify and solve complex problems using innovative methods.
• Ability to influence business direction through innovative services or products.
• Strong negotiation skills with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors.
