What you will do

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, testing, and final-test operations for electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Set daily priorities, create work schedules, assign tasks, and execute operational action plans.
• Coordinate resources, materials, tools, and services with production, service, and customer groups.
• Track performance metrics and improve cycle time, equipment efficiency, safety, quality, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Lead work-team meetings and support employee training, career development, performance management, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.
• Contribute to manpower and overhead budgeting, while driving Lean, safety, and quality improvements.

Requirements

• Understanding and application of guidelines, procedures, and processes within the relevant job family.
• Ability to supervise daily work and coach and develop employees.
• Judgment to resolve production scheduling and daily-priority issues using established practice and precedent.
• Tact and diplomacy when exchanging information and handling sensitive issues.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, lift, distinguish colors, and work around noise.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and wear required personal protective equipment in a clean-room environment.
