Supplier Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Serve as the quality focal point for the CX300 and A250 structures teams and related commodities.
• Track receiving inspection issues and lead problem resolution with internal teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers on root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Review supplier rating KPIs and create action plans for recurring or high-impact issues.
• Review and approve Supplier First Article Inspection reports and purchased-part non-conformance trends.
• Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests, review responses, and develop supplier improvement plans.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in engineering or a related field.
• Three to five years of industry experience in a manufacturing company certified to ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with statistical methods and online ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google productivity applications.
• Onsite work in South Burlington, Vermont, United States.

Nice to have

• ASQ certification or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with electronic assemblies, wire harnesses, and PCBAs.
• Experience with First Article inspections, FAA conformity inspections, and Supplier Corrective Action Requests.
