Principal ERP Solutions Engineer (Finance)

Location: Torrance, California, United States. Applicants must meet ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Salary: $151,400–$195,400 USD per year for roles hired in California.

What you will do

• Design and validate scalable ERP finance solutions across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, project accounting, costing, and related processes.
• Support ERP-enabled procurement, receiving, inventory, costing, and project-driven supply-chain operations.
• Analyze end-to-end ERP transaction flows, process gaps, system limitations, recurring issues, and data-quality challenges.
• Use Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle BICC, Palantir, and related SaaS tools to extract, transform, validate, and deliver ERP data.
• Gather requirements, lead stakeholder meetings, coordinate testing, provide status updates, and obtain sign-off on deliverables.
• Document system features, train users, and drive adoption, efficiency, accuracy, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP functional analysis, ERP support, finance systems analysis, or a similar role supporting ERP finance processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, finance, accounting, business, computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with a Tier 1 ERP platform such as Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle EBS, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor.
• Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including P2P, O2C, R2R, project accounting, costing, fixed assets, intercompany, or close processes.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, creating functional specifications, supporting UAT, troubleshooting production issues, and delivering enhancements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with Finance, Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Procurement, Costing, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, or Inventory.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud tools such as OIC, FBDI, ADFdi, BPM approvals, ESS jobs, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, or VBCS.
• Experience with ERP in MES-enabled manufacturing or government and commercial contracting environments.
• Familiarity with government contracting, project-based accounting, burden rates, FAR/DCAA considerations, audit support, or controlled business processes.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud certification in Financials, Procurement, PPM, or related technologies.
