General Ledger Technology Analyst (Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM)

Location: Hybrid, with residence within a 180-mile radius of Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; Tempe, Arizona; or Bloomington, Illinois. Candidates must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S. immediately; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Potential starting salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Support General Ledger operations from upstream data processing through month-end and year-end close, downstream reporting, and analytics.
• Translate financial and accounting requirements into technology solutions in collaboration with engineers, business partners, and product teams.
• Configure, test, and implement Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and EDM solutions in large, multi-department agile implementations.
• Manage inbound and outbound system integrations, resolve production issues, and explain system capabilities to business partners.
• Develop test cases, perform user acceptance testing, validate solutions, and engage in test automation where appropriate.
• Support expense allocation, accounting procedures, training materials, risk and defect resolution, process improvements, analytics, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in financial reporting or General Ledger processing within a large organization with 5,000 or more employees.
• Understanding of enterprise financial systems, including data flow, balancing, and period-end close from a business and accounting perspective.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, or demonstrated transition from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP solution.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Agility.
• Experience with or curiosity about AI tools, including agentic AI and ChatGPT, for data automation, balancing, or validation.
• Ability to take initiative, coordinate across teams, communicate clearly, build relationships, follow through, maintain attention to detail, and continue learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle EPM and EDM.
• Experience with SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, or similar query tools.
• AWS services experience.
