General Ledger Technology Analyst (Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM)

Location: Hybrid role for candidates residing within a 180-mile radius of the hubs in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona.

Salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Support General Ledger operations from upstream data processing through month-end and year-end close, downstream reporting, and analytics.
• Translate financial and accounting requirements into technology solutions while partnering with engineers, business partners, and product teams.
• Configure, test, and implement Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and EDM solutions in large, agile initiatives.
• Manage inbound and outbound system integrations, resolve production issues, and explain system capabilities to business partners.
• Develop test cases, perform user acceptance testing, and support test automation and solution validation.
• Maintain accounting procedures and training materials, support expense allocation, and address risks, defects, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least three years of financial reporting or General Ledger processing experience in a large organization with 5,000 or more employees.
• Understanding of enterprise financial systems, data flows, balancing, and period-end close from a business and accounting perspective.
• Hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP experience or experience transitioning from PeopleSoft to a cloud ERP solution; EPM and EDM experience is beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, or similar query tools.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Agility.
• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools, including agentic AI and ChatGPT, for data automation, balancing, or validation.
• AWS services experience.
