CNC Machinist (Electric Aviation)

Location: Onsite in South Burlington, Vermont, United States

Compensation: $27–$38 USD per hour

What you will do

• Interpret engineered drawings and prepare CNC machines for production.
• Operate CNC milling and turning machines by loading, monitoring, and inspecting machined parts.
• Maintain lubricant levels and perform routine machine upkeep during operation.
• Make slight CNC G-Code adjustments when necessary.
• Inspect finished parts and support increased production volumes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of CNC operating experience.
• Efficient CNC machine setup skills.
• Experience with cutting foam and composite materials.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft and Google tools.
• Commitment to a safe work culture and safe working environment.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and work around mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and elevated noise.
