Credit Risk Manager (Fintech)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid); remote work flexibility is also offered.

What you will do

• Assess the business models, operations, public profiles, and financial profiles of US SME and corporate customers.
• Underwrite customers using credit agency reports, financial statements, and bank account statements.
• Document key risks and mitigants and make credit limit decisions within delegated authority.
• Improve credit risk standards, documentation, loan-processing tools, and decisioning workflows.
• Design scalable, comhirify.global straight-through processes, including the use of AI capabilities.
• Coordinate fact-based communication with Sales, Legal, Operations, Product, Data, and Risk colleagues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of operational credit risk assessment experience for US corporate or SME customers in a bank or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific financial analysis.
• Experience with loan-processing, credit-decisioning, BI, open banking, or accounting tools.
• Project management skills and the ability to design and steer complex projects end to end.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to understand new problems and systems quickly.
• Fluent English with very good writing skills required.

Nice to have

• CFA or a similar qualification.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
