Head of Credit Risk and Reporting (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support the CRO in overseeing credit and product risk across products, channels, and geographies.
• Own the completeness, accuracy, and clarity of credit risk management information.
• Define standardised reporting frameworks, metrics, and risk definitions.
• Coordinate product, underwriting, and data science inputs into cross-product risk narratives.
• Monitor credit performance triggers, concentration metrics, risk limits, and funding-related triggers.
• Lead programme management for audits, funding due diligence, and external reviews while engaging funders, auditors, lawyers, and advisors.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of experience in a numerate, analytical, or risk-focused role such as credit risk, finance, consulting, audit, analytics, or operations.
• Experience with one or more consumer lending products, including unsecured personal loans, BNPL, mortgages, or auto finance.
• Experience producing, reviewing, or owning management information in a multi-product or multi-channel environment.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk performance metrics, portfolio monitoring, concentration analysis, performance triggers, risk limits, and funding-related reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting complex topics to senior audiences.
• Comfort working closely with data scientists and reviewing detailed data when required; deep data science expertise is not required.
