Finance Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in the UK (Hybrid: office-based Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

What you will do

• Contribute to and lead finance transformation initiatives from planning through to implementation.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements for complex transactions.
• Support corporate finance activities, including due diligence and M&A workstreams.
• Enhance internal controls and processes to ensure audit readiness for a future IPO.
• Collaborate with the Finance Data team to improve automation and build scalable processes.
• Liaise with external advisors on tax structuring and planning.

Requirements

• Must be a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Audit experience and a background in financial services or fintech.
• Ability to interpret accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, and legislation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics for senior stakeholders.
• Must be comfortable with hybrid working (office attendance required Mon, Wed, Thu).

Nice to have

• Technical accounting knowledge (ECL modelling, hedge accounting, IFRS 2).
• Exposure to M&A workstreams and SPV structures.
• Familiarity with NetSuite.
