Senior Software Engineer, Predict (Ruby on Rails)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services for the advertising technology platform.
• Build new features while resolving technical debt and maintaining existing systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Participate in two-week sprints, sprint planning, and technical and product roadmap development.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Scope and drive complex backend projects and architectural improvements focused on performance and code quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT.
• Strong SQL proficiency and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to development projects.
• Experience using AI tools to improve software development processes and code quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Go, React, or Java.
• Side projects related to data and analytics.
