Staff Engineer, Product Test Engineering (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Design and develop automated test equipment and bench-test solutions for IC characterization, qualification, and production.
• Develop ATE test programs and hardware for new and existing products throughout characterization, qualification, and manufacturing.
• Lead device characterization, system-to-tester correlation, production-site transfer, and qualification activities.
• Analyze test and yield data, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive yield improvement.
• Optimize test methodologies and coverage to reduce test time and product costs while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Support production facilities during early production and product ramp-up, including debugging product returns.

Requirements

• BSEE degree and around 8 years of Product and Test Engineering experience.
• Experience with industry-standard ATE, including the Cohu Unison platform; Diamond 10 or Diamond X experience is preferred.
• Experience with mixed-signal or RF ATE techniques and semiconductor manufacturing test processes.
• Strong understanding of ATE test-programming principles, LB/probe-card hardware design, statistical methods, and process control.
• Software development skills in C and Perl, along with laboratory equipment, debugging, data analysis, quality procedures, and documentation experience.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication and presentation skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Advantest 93K systems.
• Diamond 10 or Diamond X experience on the Cohu Unison platform.
