Senior Engineer II-Test (RF Test)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status is required due to U.S. export controls.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$205,000, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Design, upgrade, and maintain automated test stations, fixtures, sockets, interfaces, and interface PCBs.
• Develop and maintain test software and associated data structures.
• Design test interface hardware and select cost-effective test equipment and software solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product line management, manufacturing, vendors, and equipment manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot technical systems, perform diagnostics and root-cause analysis, and support reliable production test solutions.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 7.5–9 years of software development experience with LabWindows/CVI, C, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, or Visual Basic.
• Experience with configuration management principles and tools.
• Knowledge of electronic systems, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to design and interpret electrical circuits and schematics.
• Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, root-cause analysis, engineering/design tools, and PCB layout software such as AutoCAD or Altium.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with databases, Linux, Git, PCB fabrication, and communication protocols including GPIB, USB, and Ethernet.
• Knowledge of IP networking, remote-access tools, and terminal tools such as PuTTY, VNC, and Remote Desktop.
• Hands-on experience with RF test and measurement equipment, including network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
