Senior Technical Staff Engineer - Hardware

Location: MA - Beverly Tozer, United States. The role requires proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control regulations.

Annual base salary: $91,000–$232,000, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex hardware and embedded systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Oversee hardware validation, testing, troubleshooting, and compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver successful products.
• Review technical documentation, schematics, and layout designs while driving improvements in hardware design methods.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus 10+ years of relevant experience leading hardware or embedded-systems design projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Proven experience delivering embedded-system products in a corporate engineering environment.
• Proficiency in analysis, simulation, and implementation of embedded control systems, data converters, RF/microwave systems, and analog and digital filters.
• Must be a US citizen, permanent US resident, or protected individual under US export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of atomic clocks, precision timing, navigation, and related fields.
• Experience using FPGA or CPLD technologies.
