Senior Digital Electronics Design Engineer

Salary: $82,300–$220,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Translate system and project requirements into digital hardware architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Design, build, debug, and test prototypes and deliverable digital electronics.
• Develop processor/FPGA boards, low-power electronics, and advanced packaging solutions.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide continuous hardware support.
• Manage complex technical tasks, communicate status to project leadership and customers, and drive projects toward schedule completion.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and support business development and proposal activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in electronic design, hardware architecture, and detailed design specifications.
• Experience solving complex engineering problems, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mentor Graphics PCB design flow.
• Experience with Xilinx or Microchip FPGA/SOC design flow.
• Schematic capture, board layout, and embedded systems integration and debugging experience.
• Experience with HyperLynx and ANSYS circuit simulation.
