Location: Hazlet, New Jersey, or Portsmouth, New Hampshire; candidates must live within commuting distance of the New Jersey or New Hampshire office once established.
Salary: $134.8K–$195.1K USD annually for NJ or NH locations, plus incentive opportunities.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and validate hardware solutions for ADG customer projects and reference platforms.
- Translate aerospace, defense, and government system requirements into practical hardware architectures with customers.
- Support board-level design, schematics, layout guidance, and system integration.
- Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation in laboratory and customer environments.
- Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analysis for high-performance ruggedized designs.
- Integrate high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR, and create technical documentation and validation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in hardware design, development, or system integration.
- Experience with RTL, board-level hardware design, schematics, hardware bring-up, and debugging.
- Experience with FPGA-based systems, high-speed digital interfaces, and hands-on laboratory tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain any required U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. export authorizations.
- Strong system-level problem-solving, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or government programs.
- Familiarity with FPGA platforms and toolchains.
- Experience with ruggedized or mission-critical hardware, signal integrity, power integrity, embedded systems, or hardware/software co-design.
- Customer-facing or applications engineering experience.
