What you will do
- Characterize and validate high-speed SerDes IPs and ICs using lab instruments like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Design and develop system hardware and software for electrical characterization and functional validation.
- Create hardware reference designs to ensure consistent and reliable data communication solutions.
- Review industrial standards, define test methodologies, and develop comprehensive validation plans.
- Collaborate with analog, digital, and DSP design teams to investigate issues and enhance performance.
- Provide technical support to production, qualification, and application engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience (or Master’s/PhD with 3+ years).
- Strong background in electrical engineering, specifically analog and mixed-signal design.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed SerDes electrical characterization and compliance testing.
- Proficiency in lab equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
- Proficiency in programming, with a preference for Python.
