Head of Collection (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead and monitor field and desk collection operations across the division.
• Set and cascade daily, weekly, and monthly targets for managers, team leaders, and agents.
• Drive overdue, default, and recovery performance while reviewing results and correcting execution.
• Build the national collection organization, including headcount planning and leadership development.
• Own collection SOPs, strategies, quality assurance, fraud detection, and code-of-conduct enforcement.
• Coordinate with Credit/Underwriting, Product & Tech, Data, and third-party collection agencies, and report performance and risks to the SVP of Collections.

Requirements

• 10+ years of collections experience, progressing from agent or desk collector to team leader, manager, and head of collection.
• Experience managing field and desk collection teams at scale, preferably across multiple cities or nationally.
• Deep knowledge of Indonesian collection regulations, including OJK requirements, and LSPPI or equivalent certification.
• Ability to build and enforce SOPs, manage collection agencies and vendors, and negotiate recovery outcomes.
• Working knowledge of SQL, dialer systems, collection CRMs, reporting tools, and internal dashboards.
• Experience operating in a high-growth, fast-changing fintech environment and developing collection leaders.
