Area Collections Executive (Reliever) - LPG (Collections and Risk Management): Resolving defaulted and low-consumption LPG accounts through collections, repossessions, dispute resolution, and field interventions with an accent on portfolio recovery, fraud detection, and customer payment behaviour. Focus on coordinating Energy Officers, managing stolen or tampered products, resolving complex repayment cases, and maintaining portfolio risk metrics.
Location: Onsite in the western part of Kenya

is an off-grid solar energy company combining solar products, fintech-enabled PAYG financing, clean cooking equipment, and field operations to expand energy access.
What you will do
- Resolve defaulted and low-consumption accounts through collections, payment arrangements, repossessions, recoveries, and account closures.
- Coordinate field teams and Energy Officers on repossessions, urgent uninstallations, client relocations, product recovery, and difficult collection cases.
- Investigate and escalate fraud, misconduct, product tampering, theft, customer disputes, and conflicts between clients and Energy Officers.
- Review repayment concerns, cookstove replacement requests, account histories, contractual terms, ownership transfers, and non-recoverable accounts.
- Provide verified client information for field visits in line with data protection requirements and deliver weekly intervention updates to Sales and Risk teams.
- Train Energy Officers and drive timely completion of collection calls and repossession activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably in collections or field collections.
- Experience in credit management within an MFI, bank, fintech, or PAYG company is an advantage.
- Experience as a motorbike rider.
- Experience in fraud detection and investigation, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, planning, communication, and presentation.
- Availability for onsite work in Kenya with significant field engagement.
