Location: Onsite in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, covering Afikpo and Abakaliki

What you will do
- Assess regional portfolios and repayment trends, creating daily, weekly, and monthly strategies to improve collection rates.
- Conduct mystery market visits, gather customer and market insights, and identify issues affecting product use and repayments.
- Design, pilot, and operationalize collection processes focused on repayments and customer satisfaction.
- Work with Area Business Managers and Field Sales Executives on product repossessions and difficult customer cases.
- Report product tampering and fraudulent practices, coordinating follow-up actions under established risk procedures.
- Train and monitor field agents on collection calls, repossessions, and difficult customer collection issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Finance, Community Development, Communication, Credit Risk Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar field-based collections role, preferably serving rural customer settlements.
- Relevant experience in microfinance, fintech, banking, credit collections, or debt recovery.
- Strong communication, people, issue-tracking, and resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple sales and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in the field with rural customers and resolve customer issues.
