Vice President - Supply Chain (Fusion Energy)

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year

hirify.global is developing a simplified stellarator architecture for commercial fusion energy using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global supply chain and procurement strategy supporting the commercialization roadmap.
• Build a supply chain organization covering sourcing, subcontract management, supplier management, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Lead negotiations and establish strategic partnerships for critical materials and components, including superconductors, vacuum vessels, and power electronics.
• Develop policies, programs, and procedures for inventory control, logistics, and vendor management.
• Integrate supply chain requirements into engineering and financial planning while collaborating with company leadership and technical teams.
• Build an inclusive operations culture and support employee growth and development.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including significant senior leadership experience managing and growing supply chain organizations.
• Experience scaling a business from research and development to full-scale manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strategic perspective.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams on complex hardware and recruitment challenges.
• Ability to work on-site in Kearny, New Jersey.
