Operations Manager (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Define strategic roadmap for commodities such as machined components, electromechanical systems, shielding, thermal management, turbomachinery, and fuel
• Identify and onboard suppliers to develop a mature supply base for prototyping and full-rate production
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability and compliance with quality programs
• Develop logistics supply base including couriers, carriers, and freight forwarders for specialty materials
• Create processes and systems for supply chain planning, procurement, supplier onboarding, accounts payable, materials management, and shipping/receiving
• Develop performance metrics and manage critical path items to support engineering and testing milestones

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and able to work on-site in Los Angeles
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with 3+ years experience or 5+ years experience in supply chain management, business operations, supplier development, or supplier quality
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, semiconductor, or energy industries preferred
• Proficiency with supply chain systems including MRP and ERP
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed and travel up to 40%
• Must meet U.S. Government export regulations: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status required

• Broad experience across supply chain functions including planning, procurement, material management, program management, and logistics
