Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect (Azure)

hirify.global is recruiting for an organisation in the energy, utilities, and waste sectors delivering technology-driven transformation and migration to Microsoft cloud platforms.

What you will do

• Define and validate secure, resilient, and compliant cloud architectures for critical business services.
• Architect Azure landing zones and governance frameworks aligned with regulated-sector requirements.
• Design Microsoft 365 tenancy models, security baselines, administrative controls, and Entra ID identity patterns.
• Create infrastructure-as-code and cloud automation using PowerShell, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Provide technical assurance during migration waves, including validation of cutover plans and operating models.
• Integrate data platform components such as Microsoft Fabric, mentor engineering teams, and act as a senior technical escalation point.

Requirements

• Extensive Azure architecture experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, governance, and administration.
• Proven experience with Entra ID, Azure security services, and identity protection patterns.
• Practical cloud operations automation experience using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong solution design skills, including reference architectures, governance, cost management, and operating models.
• Experience delivering cloud migrations and large-scale transformation programmes, with strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Python, C#, or ServiceNow integrations.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305.
• Previous experience in energy, utilities, or similarly regulated industries.
