Location: On-site at the Glen Cove, NY manufacturing facility and headquarters, United States

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus equity.

Company

Builds industrial robots designed to be powerful, affordable, and scalable, moving from prototypes toward high-volume production.

What you will do

  • Own a portfolio of concurrent manufacturing programs, including facility expansion, new production line setup, vertical integration, and ERP implementation.
  • Define scopes, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, and integrated schedules, while leading weekly reviews, steering committees, and executive readouts.
  • Coordinate manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, facilities, IT, finance, and external vendors, removing blockers and driving accountability.
  • Lead facility build-outs and line installations from vendor selection and capex tracking through equipment procurement, qualification, validation, and production ramp.
  • Support ERP requirements, data migration, change management, training, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Execute component and sub-assembly in-housing through make-versus-buy analysis, tooling, process design, supplier transitions, and PPAP.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of program or project management experience in manufacturing, hardware, or industrial environments.
  • Experience leading multi-million-dollar capital programs such as facility expansions, production line installations, or factory relocations.
  • Direct experience with ERP implementation or migration, vertical integration, or new-product industrialization.
  • Working fluency in BOMs, routings, MRP, capacity planning, line balancing, takt time, quality systems, and operational KPIs.
  • Strong skills in integrated scheduling, dependency mapping, risk management, capex tracking, and stage-gate governance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience is considered.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling contract manufacturing or establishing an in-house manufacturing line for hardware or robotics products.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent credentials.
  • Familiarity with PLM, MES, and modern ERP or planning tools.
  • Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed hardware company.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on work across the production floor, vendor negotiations, leadership reviews, and executive communication.
  • Full-time employees are eligible for employee stock options.
  • Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) are available to regular full-time employees.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
