What you will do

  • Analyze Non-Conformance Reports and identify quality priorities.
  • Investigate defect types and perform root cause analysis for issues that escape to production.
  • Develop inspection work instructions as part of corrective actions.
  • Track NCR trends and progress toward reducing supplier-caused non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to address quality issues.
  • Support quality assurance activities, team meetings, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic drawing interpretation and knowledge of measurement equipment such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • For the New Zealand role, eligibility to access equipment and data regulated by ITAR is required; nationality checks will be conducted before an employment offer.

Nice to have

  • GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Understanding of problem-solving tools and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of machining or electronic parts quality requirements.
  • Previous internship or project experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
