Senior Software Engineer I, Fullstack (Node.js/TypeScript)

hirify.global develops digital construction technology, including the BuildOS platform for streamlining residential construction.

What you will do

• Lead implementation of key technologies for the BuildOS platform.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web components, libraries, and REST APIs.
• Build visualization and planning tools for residential construction workflows.
• Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the design system and implement new workflows.
• Manage relationships between authored model data, backend data, and rendering with application and backend engineers.
• Provide technical expertise, education, and mentorship across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a technical leader across engineering organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing web-based frontend applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

Nice to have

• React, Redux, and RxJS experience.
• Experience with component libraries, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Docker, AWS Lambda, Serverless, or AWS Cloud Development Kit.
• Experience with modern CI/CD workflows and tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or Travis.
• Technical leadership experience at a startup.
